📺 Twitch Transcoding - How to get it (and other stuff!)

Broadcasting at 1080p sounds like a good idea, but if you do not get transcoding (say on Twitch for example) you will be directly cutting off MASSIVE portions of the population who do not have good enough quality internet to support 1080p or 4k streaming or viewing.

Twitch do not give transcoding currently to all affiliates and instead offer it out based on the Twitch algorithm and of course based on demand on the Twitch transcoding servers.
In my opinion, I think that Twitch should offer transcoding for ALL affiliates, even if that means making the bar to getting affiliate higher than it currently is.
Luckily within OBS Studio, Streamlabs OBS (SLOBS), XSplit, OBS.live, etc all offer the flexibility to set your input (canvass) and output resolution so you have a lot of control over what quality and screen resolution you serve up to the Twitch servers natively / at source.
