☢️ *NUKING* OBS for this Spotify NOW PLAYING Widget!
Learn how to set up a Next Song / Now Playing pop-up within OBS Studio using seven different OBS Studio techniques, scripts and plugins!
For some crazy reason, in the deepest darkest hours of the morning recently I decided to nuke my OBS Studio by having a completely clean installation. This meant I overhauled my stream to achieve better stream quality and more functions within OBS Studio.
In the process, I decided to learn a number of new techniques and tips for OBS Studio, and ultimately came up with an incredibly smooth, epic NOW PLAYING widget for Spotify / iTunes!
The tutorial in this video shows all of the best OBS Studio methods, OBS plugins and OBS LUA Scripts I used to achieve the Next Song / Now Playing widget!
There are probably easier ways to achieve this - so please feel free to comment below easier methods for people, but I decided to create the now playing artwork popup in OBS in a complicated way to get better at OBS Studio, and learn loads of new tricks!
The result is incredible as I'm sure you'll agree. and can be used on your OBS Studio stream for Twitch, YouTube Gaming and Facebook Gaming (and maybe Trovo, Instagram or TikTok live streams?)
