In this lesson, we will learn how to multiply two or more fractions together. In order to multiply two or more fractions together, we will multiply the numerators and place this over the product of the denominators. Once we have our product, we will simplify the fraction. Alternatively, we can utilize a process known as cross canceling, which will prevent the double work of multiplying and then factoring to simplify. We will cancel any common factor between all numerators and all denominators before performing the multiplication. This will give us a simplified product.
