It is time for me to pass the torch. Due to family obligations, my age, and my ongoing Blender FOMO, I have decided to sell the Blender Addons website.
I started the website in 2019 with the goal of providing a central location for users to find and download Blender addons. Over the past years, the website has grown to become a popular resource for Blender users around the world.
I am proud of what I have accomplished with the website, but it is time for someone else to take over. I am confident that the new owner will continue to grow and improve the website.
I would like to thank all of the users who have supported the website over the years. I am grateful for your feedback and encouragement. I wish you all the best in your Blender endeavors.
This is a great opportunity for Blender addon developers and Blender Creators. The website started in 2019 and is doing very well in search engines. It has also a good amount of backlinks, and the name is trusted (as far as I know). I always tried to find a balance between Blender ethics and commerce, which worked out pretty well.
Initially, I sell the website for $1,850 which is way too low, but I expect higher bids. I don't look purely at the highest bid, but I also want to be sure that the website is in good hands (Same kind of ethics I used, or Blender's).
