On a dimly lit street at night, Molly finds herself in a distressing situation. As she rises from a bench, unaware that Howard is behind her holding a string of her dress, it starts to unravel, nearly exposing her. She walks past two unsavory men who notice her vulnerable state and corner her against a wall.
Just when things seem dire, Howard steps in, driving the men away and offering Molly his jacket to cover herself. Grateful but shaken, Molly accepts his offer to walk her home. As Howard tries to extend their encounter by asking to come inside, Molly declines but agrees to exchange contact information.
