Hello, guys, Namaste welcome back to androtrix, It's not even been a month since Google announced the Android Oreo and the ROM's on android oreo are already out! In this video, I'm going to show you how to download and install the Lineage OS 15.0 based on Oreo on your Oneplus 3 and 3T.
I have linked all the files required in the description box below so make sure you download all the files before starting off.
Also, I'm assuming that you have already installed the TWRP recovery on your device if you haven't you can check my friend Dhananjay video which even I followed when I installed TWRP on my device.
With that being said, let's get started.
So once you boot into the TWRP, you have to go to wipe and factory resets the phone, once that is done you need to click on format data and type in yes and confirm it. This will delete all the data that you have on your device. Now go to reboot and click on recovery this will help you detect the smartphone on your computer. Now transfer the Gapps, Lineage OS 15.0 ROM and the firmware just in case you face any problem
Now go to install and select the ROM and install it.
If you face this error then you will have to install the firmware before installing the ROM as I'm doing it right now.
After that install, the Gapps and you are good to go.
The first reboot will take a lot of time so just chill out and watch my video on Oneplus 5 Before and After EIS update if you haven't watched already.
Now that it is installed successfully, just set the device up.
Now let me tell you the bugs/errors which you will face when you install the ROM.
There is no inbuilt camera app and even If you install the third party camera it'll not work. Even the Bluetooth wasn't working when I tried to send a file from my oneplus 5 to the Oneplus 3T. The slider as of now is not working but this will surely be fixed real soon. The gestures on the home screen also seem not to be working anymore.
As mentioned earlier this is a very early release so I would recommend you to not install this if you are using this as your primary device. I keep updating the link when the new version comes out and mention it on twitter so make sure you follow me on twitter for the same.
