There are a number of reasons why good leaders fail at people skills. Most of them, as you learn in this video, are not your fault. It's because of a system that doesn't introduce, encourage or support the learning of people skills for leaders. And what usually happens is the technical skill leader who is great at their job, is promoted into leadership, but they don't know how to deal with people.
People skills aren't that difficult to learn. You just need to know what people skills are important for you to learn as a leader, which I teach you at the end of this video. But before you get into the specific people skills, it's important you know "why" leaders aren't good at dealing with people. What is blocking or preventing them from being a good people leader. With that knowledge, it will free you to learn the right people skills you need for leadership success.
