The closing lap of an epic 5000m. In trying his best to kick away from Aouita, Maree in the end helped the Moroccan take Dave Moorcroft's WR by a paltry 100th of a second! To be fair the talented Aouita later went on to become the first sub 13 minute 5000 runner.
