Our 007 Secret Staircase with Hidden Drawers | Before and After
You can really change an entire space just by tearing down some walls and opening everything up. This is exactly what we did when we tore down one of the walls for our staircase. Now when you walk in from the entrance or the kitchen you get a beautiful view of the living room. To make things even more open, we mounted the glass railing onto the risers so that it looks like it floats.
We found this stunning Lucite Hand railing on Etsy and bought these recessed stair lights to add a soft mood light and guide when walking up the stairs. Finally, space in a condominium is always at a premium so we figured we would find some extra space right under the stairs and installed these hidden drawers to store our wrapping paper, gift bags and other odds and ends.
