This webinar provides an introduction to Bio-Rad's Droplet Digital PCR (ddPCR™) system, the principles underlying the technology, and its unique characteristics. We present a few example applications of the technology and discuss how ddPCR assays can complement existing techniques in gene expression studies and microRNA analysis. Methods for multiplex ddPCR assays using EvaGreen dye are also highlighted.
The QX200™ Droplet Digital PCR system, Bio-Rad's second-generation digital PCR system, provides absolute quantification of target DNA or RNA molecules using EvaGreen or TaqMan hydrolysis probes, yielding unmatched sensitivity and precision for a wide variety of applications.
