This took way longer to do than it should've been, due to tech. Anyway, in this vidya Mr. PSX here shows all the releases he has about movies adapted from vidyan gaemz and if the releases are any different. Plus some of the oddness is talked about as well. What we're looking at here is:
Tomb Raider (2001) (Finnkino & Paramount DVD's - European release, Finnish covers) (Region 2)
Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life (2003) (Finnkino & Paramount DVD's - European release, Finnish covers) (Region 2)
DOA: Dead Or Alive (2006) (Nordisk Film DVD - Nordic release, Finnish covers) (Region 2)
Super Mario Bros. (1993) (FutureFilm DVD - Nordic release, Finnish covers - and SoulMedia DVD - Nordic release) (both Region 0 / ALL, also both without copy protection)
What I somehow fail to mention that both Mario movie discs are "anamorphic" and that the newer one has the image slightly stretched as well (a few of SoulMedia's Spencer & Hill DVD's suffer from that as well). But screw it I ain't talking through all this again. There's also a Nordic Blu-ray of Super Mario Bros. from SoulMedia released in 2022 but I dunno how that is. Is the tunnel still "NOT FINNISHED" by the way?
Also yeh, I contacted smbarchive guys in an attempt to get the home video releases page a bit more accurate and have more stuff.
