So you want to start making videos
But you have no idea where to begin.
No worries!
This is your guide on becoming a Video Content Creator (Part 1)
What do you need?
You don't need a fancy high-end camera, expensive lighting or the most powerful computer but there are a few essentials I would recommend
The good news is, if you're watching this, chances are you already have something you can use to get started!
So number 1
A camera
That can be your phone, a tablet or even a laptop with a webcam.
If you have another camera, great! but it's not essential
Number 2
A tripod
This doesn't have to be expensive, you can find plenty of cheap ones on Amazon or you can even use some books or something similar for now
Number 3
A microphone
Again this doesn't need to be super expensive. You can use your phone or other device to record voice-overs if needed
but if you are planning to talk to the camera I would recommend a wireless lav mic
Lastly
Light
You don't need to buy a light to get started but I would definitely put one on the list for later.
Window light is perfect for most things
but we'll talk about how to light your videos later
