How to use Phone's Camera as a Webcam for Zoom [Android & iPhone] Use Phone as Webcam (2020)
In this video, we will learn How to use your phone as a webcam for zoom in 2020 for android and iPhone in a few easy steps. As we know all phone's camera is nicer than the laptop's webcam. So we can convert the phone's camera to webcam in few easy steps.
So we will be using two methods in this video.
1. Free Method.
2. Paid Method.
In free method we will use free apps which have to be installed in your computer and cellphone respectively
The first software that I tested was Iriun Webcam which you can download: http://iriun.com/
It is available for windows and mac os and also supports Android and iPhones. In my test, it worked fantastic on windows and mac PC. But as advertised 4K did not work for me.
Other than that it was autofocusing and auto-exposure was also working fine.
The Second software which I tested was EpoCam which you can download from this website. https://www.kinoni.com/
It has a simple user interface but you will not get a lot of options to controls. And I felt it was not amazing as iriun webcam.
With all these to use your phone in zoom. You need to change the video input settings from the video icon in a zoom call. There you will find an option to change the camera input from your default one to Phone's one.
Now if you want to go for a paid option then there is a software called iVcam which can be downloaded from https://www.e2esoft.com/ivcam/
And it is only available for Windows PC. However, you can download it on iPhone and Android phones. But on iPhone you can't install it free.
And remember this software doesn't work fine in the first try in my Macbook air. So if you face any issue make sure to uninstall them and try again. For me, this worked. Hope it will also work for you as well.
