A breathtaking 2,000 cubic meters of lava erupted every second at one point from Iceland's Reykjanes volcano. This was sufficient to fill an olympic sized swimming pool in only 1.25 seconds! However, since then the rate of lava effusion has dramatically decreased while at the same time leading to a danger posed by toxic gas emissions. Today's video will discuss what has occurred at the Reykjanes volcano in Iceland during the last 24 hours.
