How To Mix Turquoise (Or Teal... Or Aqua Blue!) Step-By-Step
Today we're learning how to mix turquoise! This is the full step-by-step process of mixing this popular colour. We're using oil paints, but this same principle can be applied to other mediums like acrylic and watercolour.

Stephen is BACK! He's starting a series of paint-mixing tutorials for you, kicking things off with how to mix turquoise. This colour could also be seen as a green turquoise, or perhaps even a shade of teal.
He's using a range of oil paints for this, but the concept can be applied to other mediums. Just be aware that acrylics will dry slightly darker, and watercolours dry lighter.
Another thing is: you CAN use gloves if you don't want to use bare hands to mix your paints. This is purely done as an exercise to demonstrate how to mix oil paints, but when you're mixing larger amounts we recommend using a palette knife.
