What this video is about:
I will teach you what the best codec for rendering video in Blender for YouTube is and all the basics needed to start editing now. Understanding the video sequence editor in Blender on a novice level. Understanding how to cut and drag & drop film strips and so on.
What this video is not about:
This is a not a super comprehensive video about Blender for beginner video editors. You should have some editing knowledge from other software at least and know some basics about video formats and encoding.

MENTIONED TERMINOLOGY
b-roll = a-roll is basically everything where you see a person or photographic object as a subject of the plot, b-roll is where you see the person or other objects/surroundings as objects of the plot
color-marking/tagging = option in blender to color strips (I use this to separate a-roll and b-roll, therefore e.g. I mark all a-roll light blue)
