How to update the firmware on a budget quality recorder Tascam DR-05?
First of all, store the microUSB cable or card reader for microSD cards, in my case, when the recorder was connected, the computer did not find anything - I had to pull out the USB flash drive and connect it via the Chinese adapter. Next, the firmware file is unzipped to the folder on the USB flash drive and we can return the media back to the device. We first make sure that the anti-05 tacks are well-charged and in the off state we hold down the rewind keys to the left + mark + turn on and see the service menu - then the play button (ok) and once again confirm that yes, we want to update our firmware. After these actions the download should go and try not to touch our Tascam DR-05 until the end of the download (this process took me about 1m. 30s) after the device reboots and a list of supported language packs is issued. We are all excited about the updated recorder and continue to record sound quality!
