It was in 2018, and I continued to collect my PC from old components on the morally outdated 775 socket with the server processor E5450 (771 with the mod).
Build a budget PC should start with the selection of the case, in my case, a systemic from the past, but a quality "box." Based on the motherboard gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3 - supports multi-core 45nm processors, has a large selection of connection interfaces and the system bus up to 1600 MHz, at one time there was a sane board with extensive settings for overclocking the CPU in the BIOS. All four slots are occupied by the memory slots from China DDR2 800MHz each for 2GB. - work stably for a long time. The server Xeon E5450 is cooled by the cooler cooler Zalman CNPX10X, which is enough for extreme overclocking of this pebble. The power supply of the budget old man FSP PNF400W for this system is bigger and does not need a video card from ATI HD4550 (512MB) with a passive radiator, as a temporary solution for my purposes to sit out for a while - will come down, and then we'll accumulate something more serious :).
Cooler fixed on silicone nails from the sky, recently strongly sat on them and even friends install these wonderful fasteners - satisfied with it!
On this system, the dual start always works, it turns on - it turns off and already the norms. the computer starts.
