Marco Baldi è un giovanissimo chitarrista di Pordenone, classe ’96, autore di Fusion Lines in collaborazione con Alessio Menconi Guitar Institute. È molto specializzato nella chitarra jazz-fusion e soul-funk ma lascia ampio spazio a tantissimi altri generi. I numerosi studi con artisti del calibro di Carl Verheyen, Mike Stern, Alessio Menconi e Jonathan Kreisberg gli hanno fatto approfondire il mondo della chitarra fusion.
Tra i suoi progetti spiccano Prog Legends, tributo alla musica progressive rock, e Pulse Trio, gruppo di editi ed inediti nel mondo fusion.
In questa intervista di Davide Corso Marco Baldi ci racconta la sua storia da studente di chitarra dalla tenera età fino agli studi più importanti con i chitarristi citati precedentemente ed al suo ruolo odierno di professionista e didatta. Abbiamo parlato di improvvisazione, ansia da palcoscenico, strumentazione e soprattutto del suo libro Fusion Lines per AMG.

Interview with Marco Baldi
Marco Baldi is a very young guitarist from Pordenone, born in ’96, author of the Fusion Lines method in collaboration with Alessio Menconi Guitar Institute. He is very specialized in jazz-fusion and soul-funk guitar but he's really able to play properly many other genres. His numerous studies with artists such as Carl Verheyen, Mike Stern, Alessio Menconi and Jonathan Kreisberg allowed him to get deep in the world of fusion guitar.
Among his projects stand out Prog Legends, a tribute to progressive rock music, and Pulse Trio, a group of edited and unpublished in the world of fusion.
In this interview made by Davide Corso Marco Baldi tells us his story as a guitar student from an early age to his most important studies with the guitarists mentioned above and his current role as a professional and teacher. We talked about improvisation, stage anxiety, instrumentation and above all about his book Fusion Lines for AMG.
