ANCIENT ROME 2: The Roman Republic and the Conquest of Italy
In the first part of this episode we will know the most important juridico-political institutions of the Roman Republic, as well as the first formations of its army to manipulate. Among them are the consuls, the praetors, the censors, the quaestors or the ediles curules, and also the assemblies, like the Senate, the Centuriada Assembly, the tribunade and the reforms of the plebian class with the tribunes of the plebs and the concilum Plebis.
In the other half of episode we will see the most important wars of Rome against its Italic neighbors between the year 509 and 270 BC. The first was the 1st Latin War, which was followed by three wars against the Etruscan city of Veyes. After an invasion of the Gauls who sacked Rome, the wars against the Samnites, a town in the center-south of Italy, would arrive.
Finally, the final boss of this episode is reserved for the Greek Pyrrhus of Epirus, who will try to invade Italy with quite little success.
