My Anxiety Plan (MAP) is an anxiety management program based on cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT). CBT is an evidence-based psychological treatment that was developed through decades of scientific research and has been shown to be one of the most effective treatments for anxiety problems. MAP is designed to provide adults struggling with anxiety with practical strategies and tools to manage anxiety. MAP includes 6 easy to navigate units with 45 lessons.

MAP for Adults is designed as a self-help program that you can work through at your own pace. You will learn how to identify anxiety symptoms and strategies to balance your thoughts. MAPs for adults can also be used while working with a mental health provider who can help guide you through the program.

This video reviews Part 1 of Creating a MAP and provides general information that applies to all anxiety and related problems. The OBJECTIVE of the sessions outlined here in PART 1, is to help you become an expert in how anxiety works and to prepare you to make changes in how you will deal with your anxiety as treatment proceeds.

The lessons in this unit highlight key information and facts about anxiety, so that you can become an anxiety expert. The lessons will also help you take some initial steps to get ready to tackle anxiety.
