This video continues from the previous videos on 3D. In this one I use ArcGIS Pro and the Spatial Analyst extension to carry out a line of sight analysis using manually set observers & targets and then use the Viewshed geoprocessing tool to create a viewshed raster surface.
The line of sight work generates vector geometries which are automatically stored in the project geodatabase. The viewshed raster is also stored in the geodatabase.
The raster has cell values that relate to whether or not that particular location is viewable from the input observers and by how many observers e.g. a cell value of 2 means that location can be seen by 2 observers.
