I spent all weekend playing a variety of Fighter builds and all of them are strong as heck. Slayer is dangerous but thin, 3/5 Plate is deceptively fast and full plate simply cannot be stopped with the new sprint buff. These builds can kill all the bosses solo as well as crush in PvP.
