Symfony 5 Real-time Chat App - Mercure [Part 3\4] (OUTDATED, READ DESC)
This tutorial is outdated, most of will work just fine except for one thing they changed in a new update, When creating a new Update in the video i passed three options, the first was an array of topics, that has not changed, the second was the data, that remains as well unchanged, the third option however is the one that changed, it used to be an array of targets, now it's just a boolean, this parameter by default is set to false, which means this is a public update, but in the case of my video this needs to be true because the message is going to a certain guy and not everyone.
Important note, if you get a cors headers problem just add http:// to the CORS_ALLOWED_ORIGINS option when running the binary, the url will look like this "http://localhost:8000"
