The first thing you need to do after turning your Xbox on is navigate to settings. Then go to Devices & Connections followed by digital assistants,
and then select enable digital assistants.
While you are there you can also go to the TV/AV power options and select if you want other devices to be able to turn your Xbox on or off.
You should now open the google home app,
Press the plus button on the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Under works with google, press have something already set up
And search for Xbox
Select Xbox and follow the on-screen instructions
Your Nest/Google assistant and Xbox should now be connected.
Now for some examples of some commands.
To turn the Xbox on you would say
Hey google Xbox on.
To launch a game you would say,
Hey google launch assassins creed Valhalla.
Or if I was watching a youtube video I could pause it by simply saying
Hey google - Pause.
You can also use the echo to control the volume.
For example Computer volume 50%.
