Boredom drives us to do some foolish things like take on the difficult Lake Silverstep before the beginning of the Varnhold Vanishing.
I think we were of an appropriate level and everything went well this time, but this one could go sideways pretty quickly so I was mildly concerned.
Ivar had some explaining to do and I dealt with the bandits in the cave easily enough. That cyclops can be a bit of a shocker the first time around and the nixie/nereid combo is always difficult.
I even made a new discovery, and this must be my 20th time playing this area.
