What was the ancestry of the first 3 Presidents of the United States of America and what do we know about their DNA haplogroups? First up is the most famous one, George Washington of course, who became the First President of the United States on the 30th of April 1789 and was in office until 1797. But what do we know about his ancestry?
Well George Washington was primarily of English descent but there were other influences as well. He was born in 1732 in Popes Creek in the Virginia Colony of British America.
