When your channel gets popular, trolls and spammers can come on to your channel to leave spam with links to porn sites or trolls that leave rude remarks.
You do not have to take it! Beside each comment, you will see three dots over a mouse over. Click on the three dots and you can report SPAM or inappropriate material and also you can ban trolls from interacting with your channel.
In either case, the offensive comments will be deleted from your channel and in the case of the trolls, they are held in troll jail that you can access in your YouTube studio under settings and then community.
