No Focus or Niche on YouTube? Do This NOW! - Learn to Train the YouTube Algorithm -
YouTube is a great platform but many people don't understand how to grow their channel.
They use their channel as a catch all - funny videos, vlogs, repurposed facebook or instagram lives, various content, here and there. Many people have channels full of content but without a cohesive focus.
This is actually a problem because the YouTube algorithm won't promote your content because it is not clear what your channel is all about.
So what to do? Figure out what your channel is and what type person would love to consume your content. If it's too spread out with too many varied content, you will need to make some choices.
Pick a niche or somewhat related niches that still connect together.
If you have separate and unrelated content ideas, it would be best to create a separate channel.
If you have videos that you use professionally or for other purposes, you can set them as unlisted videos. They will not show up on search or on your channel page but you can share them to people and any place with a link access.
Many people use unlisted videos and it's a great idea if those videos aren't central to your main niche.
Because focusing on your niche and ideal subscriber will help your channel grow. Your ideal subscriber wants to binge watch your content and YouTube wants to push out your videos as long as the content is fairly related to a central theme or idea.
Your other content can go to another channel or simply make content outside of your main niche unlisted. It's a win win.
