Introducing BARITONE GUITAR WASHES, a virtual instrument for Native Instrument's Kontakt from sample library developer Riot Audio based on samples of a custom aluminium-neck baritone electric guitar played by Italian dark ambient legend Eraldo Bernocchi (Sigillum S, Harold Budd).
BARITONE GUITAR WASHES is based on Riot Audio's proprietary WASHES engine, which includes three distinct layers (BODY, GRIT and AIR), each with specific sound characteristics and purposes. It also makes use of Kontakt's AET Filter technology to add morphing envelopes to the layers.
BARITONE GUITAR WASHES is as far away from a simple guitar sample library as it is possible to be whilst still retaining the original character of the instrument. Its sound design capabilities are far-reaching and make it a versatile addition to any composer's or producer's arsenal.
