Soft Close, Full Extension Drawer Slides are a remarkable addition to furniture making, they are easy to install and don't require huge amounts of effort just by following a few simple common sense rules, like don't make the drawers wider than the opening of distance between the 2 slides and take time to make install of the drawer slides equal on each side; I have installed a few of these now and I am loving these newer soft close versions of the full extension drawer slides, they are easy to install and a joy to use. Full extension drawer pulls last long time and can carry larger amounts of weigh, and easier. Many years ago I made wooden drawer slides, I would never do that again, they are sticky, subject a lot of wear and worst of all when ambient moisture rises and the wooden slides swell, it is huge struggle to move drawers in and out, these commercial version solve all those problems.
