Hi everyone!
For this video, I show how to prepare the low poly model to be exported, Soften Edge first (Mesh Display), Then do a Automatic UV unwarp to it, then export as obj.
*Friendly Reminder, creating a High Res projection of details onto a Low Res Map and model, both the position and size of High and Low Res model must be the same. Very sensitive to the projection.*
In XNormal, import the High Res into the High Res Mesh, Low Res to Low Res, Baking Options I on Height Map, Normal Map, Ambient Occlusion map, export to source images folder, and all in 4k. Then I can generate the maps.
I don't need to On High Poly Vertex color since I am not using polypainting this time, and the ray distance calculator is to have a much more accurcate result. In the case of this model, it is fine so I don't need to do the extra calculation this time.
