The Biggest Gaming Sin
Most people enjoy certain genres of games. Be it roguelites, metroidvanias, survival games, sandbox games or strategy games, there is usually something out there for everyone. But what happens when we get tired of a certain game in the genre? Should we move on to a different game in the same genre, or should we adventure out of our comfort zone and try something completely different?
In this video, I share my experience of sticking too comfortably in the same few genres of games, and how trying something new was able to rekindle the spark I had for gaming as a whole, and how that allowed me to see my beloved genres in a whole new light.
