Quantum Synthetics (HDR 8K, HDR10+, BT.2020 art project)
All HDR colors, all HDR luminance levels (up to 1000nits), and a relaxing, continuously reshaping synthetic appearance of colors and contrast. Started as a video project with Spatio-temporal noise and scientific background in creating display evaluation test signals, this video evolved into an art project in multiple steps of applying visual effects and various layers.
Best viewed on HDR displays with a wide color gamut, such as those with Quantum Dot technology. You might be able to see the benefits of displays with a larger color volume (e.g. more saturated and brighter colors) quite well.
Dynamic HDR10+ Metadata is utilized to enable a maximum of vivid details even on displays with limited capabilities in luminance and colors.
This project's slow but very detailed movements are challenging for the standard encoding of many OTA platforms. Therefore we are considering offering a download version of this project.
