Following this incident and reports of racial insults aimed at AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie by Hellas Verona fans, ESPN FC’s Gab Marcotti slams Serie A for its failure to punish racism in its stadiums and backs Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti’s plan to pull his players off the pitch if they are racially abused, even if it means forfeiting the match.
