Located in the dense urban fabric, the concrete cuboid is built on a sleek plot of 22 x 6 meters. The design adopts simple geometries to draw delicate yet dramatic play of both light and volume.
While the austere and blank façade conceals the playful life within, the careful consideration of proportions results in the varying volumes throughout the house.
Principal Architect Sourabh Gupta and Architect Harsh Chauhan walk us through this house which addresses the aspects of light, material, and budget despite the challenging linear plot.
