In this video I am showing you 7 GoPro Hero 8 Tricks to improve your travel videos.
Trick 1: Fishing Line
Fishing line is a good tool to get really nice and cinematic GoPro Hero 8 shots. With the fishing line it's very easy to get great swing shots because it's now very simple to get a smooth curve movement. This GoPro Hero 8 trick is very useful for travelers.
Trick 2: Angles
To make your GoPro Hero 8 travel videos look professional and cinematic you need various angles for the same shots. Like that you have more flexibility in the edit and with this trick your GoPro Hero 8 travel videos will look better.
Trick 3: Tape Roll
Using a tape roll is another great trick to get smooth and creative GoPro Hero 8 travel shots. You probably know the cinematic rotation shots made with motorized gimbals, which looks really cool, but a gimbal is just too expensive for most travelers. Instead you can use a tape roll and in this GoPro Hero 8 tutorial I show you how to use it, to get great GoPro rotation shots with it.
Trick 4: Vertical Videos
This GoPro Hero 8 trick gets forgotten often, but with the Hero 7 and 8 the screen flips if you film vertically. That's very useful if you want to film great looking Instagram stories of your travel activities with your GoPro Hero 8.
Trick 5: Pictures
A great trick to always get nice looking travel pictures is to take screenshots of videos. For that you need to set your resolution to 4K, otherwise the image quality is too bad. Then just take a screenshot of the scene you like the most. I usually use this GoPro Hero 8 trick, if I have to hand my GoPro to someone else I don't trust in making good pictures.
Trick 6: Ideas
