A throwback chicken stew recipe from @IVdarealonly channel. I purchased a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store and separated it by hand. I then constructed a roux using a stick of unsalted butter and a half of a cup of all purpose flour. I then added a rough chopped onion and sauteed it in the roux for 4 minutes. Next I added diced celery, red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, green bell pepper, and minced garlic and sauteed for 5 mins. During this process I added tablespoon amounts of garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, thyme, sea salt, and Zatarrains Creole Seasoning. I then added 6 cups of chick stick before finally adding the shredded chicken to the mix. I brought the stew to a boil over high heat and reduced it to medium heat.
