Dog with Maggot Infested Paw
This dog suddenly developed an acute lameness and swollen hindpaw. He had to be sedated for a full examination as he was too sore. Close inspection revealed he had an infected paw riddled with live maggots. We removed all the maggots and flushed his wounds and treated him medically. He responded well to treatment.
