Breadboard prototypes can often include other dev boards and breakout boards. KiCad can be used to create a schematic symbol for each of the components. We can also reuse these schematic symbols across projects using git submodules. We will create a schematic based on these dev boards and use ERC to ensure the connections are all ok! In part, we will dig deeper into each of these dev boards to make the electrical schematic more detailed.
