It is very common in retail to use psychological pricing, with prices ending in 99 cents, rather than a round number.
Let me show you a way in Excel to round up to the next 99 cents. Over here on the left in column A, we have the “raw” number: the cost or wholesale price plus a markup. In column B, I have all of these numbers rounded up to the next 99 cents. How? Using the ROUNDUP function in Excel. Round up the value in cell A2 to the next whole dollar. No decimals, as indicated by the zero. Then simply deduct one cent from it in all cases, and you have all retail prices ending in the next 99 cents.
