African American or Africana Studies provides students with information about African American experiences from a historical perspective. This mini-lecture covers key terms and concepts that you will find this semester in the course. Dr. Woodley talks about the roots of African-American Studies and prepares students for learning about the interdisciplinary field of African-American/Black Studies.
