I Bought a "Gibson 6 String Bass" on eBay last summer and this is what showed up. A beaten and neglected 5-string Gibson Corvus III! I've been wanting to document a Corvus III for awhile because it features 3 Gibson Single Coil Pickups which you don't usually find in too many models. The Corvus is a bolt-on neck Gibson that was initially intended to be a headless design... but marketing said it needed a headstock so the guitars flopped hard!
