In this video, I show you how to set up your Amazon Echo so that it will work with your Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S.
Setup is simple;
The first thing you need to do after turning your xbox on is navigate to settings. Then go to Devices & Connections followed by digital assistants, and then select enable digital assistants.
While you are there you can also go to the TV/AV power options and select if you want other devices to be able to turn your xbox on or off.
You should then go to the Alexa App and enable the Xbox skill.
Some examples of commands you can use are; (depending on how you set your Xbox up you may have to say "Alexa ask xbox too" but in some cases just "Alexa" will be fine.)
"Xbox on."
"Turn on my Xbox."
"Start my Xbox."
"Turn on."
"Turn off my Xbox."
"Turn off."
"Xbox off."
"Reboot."
"Take a screenshot."
"Broadcast."
"Open (app/game name)."
"Launch (app/game name)"
"Go to (app/game name)."
"Pause."
"Play."
"Rewind."
"Fast forward."
"Volume up (number)."
"Volume down (number)."
"Mute."
