OK This copyright claim stuff is getting real old, real fast. Time to do a little rant here.
This video was just flagged and hit with an ad by some news agency called AFP. What, does AFP now own NASA? I agree, they probably used the same video as I did. Knwo why? Because NASA TV makes it FREE for ALL to use!!! Just because they USE it doesn't mean they OWN it any more than I OWN it by USING it! I didn't by any means get it off THEIR newscast. And if they're so concerned, maybe they should put their logo on all their footage somewhere to prove it somehow came from them. If they do, you'll notice it's not on my video. If they don't well they think they're a LOT more important than they are. Why would I take it from them when I get it free directly from NASA? OMFG the ignorance of some corporate types!
But no, they claim to OWN what is not theirs, so I'm supposed to what, argue over a stupid Youtube video? More and more companies are getting away with this video extortion. It has got to stop!
I have three shuttle launch vids up. All video came from NASA. Yet three different companies claim to own NASA. It's like whoever gets there first puts their finger into the pie and Youtube doesn't give a damn. It's literally guilty until proven innocent!
Something has got to change or there simply won't be any more Youtube videos before too long!
Youtube had better wake up and smell the copyright shit fermenting!
