RSMV In Love With My Car concept test
Here's a rough draft of about the first thirty seconds of RSMV I'm In Love With My Car by Queen.
As some of you may know, Jaguar used this song a few years ago for one of its commercials. So I decided to take that concept a little further. Lots of Jaguars, lots of Runescape, and a great song.
Unfortunately, it seems I've run into a technology wall. All this layered gree-screening has, quite literally, brought Vegas to its knees. Editing and tweaking with real-time preview is essentially impossible. And rendering is a nightmare. Just this small 30 second clip took well over an hour to render.
I'll either have to find a new way to work with Vegas or switch to Premiere and hope it's a bit more efficient before moving on with this project.
Wish me luck! I'm gonna need it because the worst is yet to come!
EDIT: OK, I think after posting and watching this, I'm getting a handle on what I REALLY want to do. A Runescape band over a background screen of Jaguar cars.
And, if Vegas cooperates, I think I know how to do this in incremental steps which will keep Vegas from melting down (until the final rendering of course), and still let me get the tight rhythmic control I insist on.
