Connecting two Roland VS2480 digital mixers
Here we have two Roland VS2480 digital mixers midi synced and coaxial digital locked together.
One machine needs to be the MMC master, so that pressing STOP, PLAY, etc will control the other (slave).
Midi out from Master, turn Transmit Switch ON (TX)
Midi in on the Slave, turn Receive Switch ON (RX)
I use Synctrack. So that the SPP will be the same on both units.
I turn Sync to Gap ON.
On the Master connect the digital coaxial cable to the OUT port.
On the Slave connect the digital coaxial cable to the In port
On the Slave turn the Coaxial Digital IN on.
Decide whether you are using Syntrack or some other midi sync.
