using ffmpeg to make a "trippy" effect

Don't know how else to describe the effect. Hope you have fun with it.
here is the command:
ffmpeg -i input.MOV -vf lagfun output.MOV

I also used the blend command on my input video and I have 2 videos about the blend command:
   • new improved ffmpeg blend video
   • (old) using ffmpeg all 33 blend modes...

and to make the image I used krita and just used the gradient tool which I also have made a video on how to use because I had trouble finding the button, here's that video:
