I am showing you the kinds of wireframes I get from the UX designers to build the User Interface. It's important to have organized files in folders and clearly labeled layers so another designer of a large team can easily continue from your work.
To design interfaces, I work a lot with Photoshop's Layer Comps. This way, I can use one artboard. I.e., If I need to show normal, hover, and activate states of buttons I can design each look and make a new Layer Comp for each instance, instead of having to build (and after changes update) 3 different files. Then, things will easily start to shift, as well.
Pattern libraries are a great way to ensure that the team doesn't stray too far off-brand. And I mention the most common wireframe programs like OmniGraffle, Balsamiq (https://balsamiq.com/), AdobeXD, Sketch, Invision, and lately Figma.
