Testing the DPA 6066 Headset Mic — A Wonderful Way to Upgrade Your Content Delivery
Audio matters! Especially when you are presenting, leading a yoga class, or coaching your clients.
One of the easiest ways to ensure top-notch sound is to wear a headset mic like the @DPAmicrophones 6066 which I am testing right now.
Initial thoughts: This microphone is an absolute game changer. We've been working with wireless mics, lavalieres, and directional mics as well. But the sound out of the DPA 6066 is from another world.
Especially for Yoga session recording and live classes! Having the mic right next to the instructor's mouth (and moving with it) makes sure that the whole class sounds like it is created in a pristine environment, like the teacher is right next to you. The sound doesn't even change when the poses have the instructor tilt their head.
I am testing this mic and will publish my full thoughts in a few weeks. But at this point, I can already say:
If you do any type of presenting (on stage or online), you are a yoga instructor, or similar? Take a look at the DPA 6066. I just might upgrade your show/content to a new level.
